Philosophy and Approach
I believe that true healing begins in a space of safety, affirmation, and genuine partnership. As a Resident in Psychology, I work with adults across the lifespan, from age 18 through older adulthood, using an integrated therapeutic approach tailored to your unique history and goals.
My practice is grounded in the understanding that our past experiences significantly shape our present well-being. Therefore, all our work together is fundamentally trauma-informed, offering a supportive space to navigate the challenges of any life stage, including those unique to older adulthood.
"I believe that true healing begins in a space of safety, affirmation, and genuine partnership."
I specialize in treating adults (18+) with:
Anxiety
Parenting challenges
Grief and loss
Life transitions
Sexual difficulties
Relationship obstacles
Attachment challenges
Complex trauma
Personality disorders
Trauma and Resilience
I specialize in helping individuals process and heal from the effects of trauma. I utilize highly effective, evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help reframe distressing thoughts, and principles of Polyvagal Theory to understand and regulate the nervous system. Our focus will be on moving beyond survival and cultivating lasting resilience.
