Hi, I’m Autumn Duffy, and I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build more fulfilling, connected relationships. I grew up in the Williamsburg, Virginia area and earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies (2009) and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2024) from William & Mary. During my graduate studies, I completed a double concentration in Addiction Counseling and Marriage and Family Counseling.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth.
My clinical experience includes working with clients in residential addiction treatment as well as in outpatient community and non-profit settings. I’ve had the privilege of helping clients work through trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, and other challenges that can make it harder to thrive.
In my counseling work, I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I’m also pursuing basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to further support clients in trauma recovery. Currently, I am authorized through EMDRIA to practice EMDR therapy.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth.
I specialize in treating adults (18+) and youth (12-17) with:
Substance Abuse
Trauma and PTSD
Family and Couple Issues
